Barbara A. (DeLoskey) Dennis

Barbara A. (DeLoskey) Dennis, 84, of Cheesequake Village/Old Bridge Township, passed away, Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.  She was born in Carbondale, PA, residing in Matawan, before moving to Old Bridge.  She worked for St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport, as a housekeeper, before retiring.  Barbara was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church; a member of the Altar Rosary Society; a Eucharistic Minister; and a member of the Keyport First-Aid Ladies Auxiliary.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Margaret DeLoskey; her beloved husband, Earl Dennis in 1987; and a son, Joseph Dennis in 1991.  She is survived by her loving children, Earl Dennis of WI and wife Pat; Diane Wolfenden and husband Bob of Keyport; Patricia Masucci of Old Bridge; and Mary Donnelly of Matawan; three dear sisters, Grace Hourihan, Claire DeLoskey, and Jane Martin; eight cherished grandchildren and five precious great grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 15, 2015, from 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Monday, November 16, 2015, 8:30AM at the funeral home, with a 9:15AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport.  Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Keyport.  To post an online condolence to the family or for directions to the funeral home, please visit www.dayfuneralhome.com.
