Antoinette M. (Della Pietro) Guisti

Antoinette M. (Della Pietro) Guisti, 96, of Matawan/Old Bridge Township, Cheesequake Village, passed away, Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at home surrounded by her family.  Born in Keyport, she resided in Cliffwood before settling in Old Bridge 20 years ago.  She retired from the Lloyd Road School and Matawan Middle School.  She was a communicant of St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport and a member of their Altar Rosary Society; and also a member of Club 60 at St. Clement RC Church, Matawan.

Antoinette was predeceased by her beloved husband, Samuel in 1995; her parents, Felice and Antoinette (Ciccone) Della Pietro; and her siblings, Sam Della Pietro, Philomena Lanzaro, Rose Ciccone, Theresa Esposito, Carmen Della Pietro, Fred Della Pietro, Anna Schwartz and Frank Della Pietro.  She is survived by her loving children, Toni Rizzo and husband Peter of Old Bridge; James Guisti of Matawan; and Michael Guisti and wife Sharon of Matawan;  seven cherished grandchildren; and one great grandson, with one on the way.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 2, 2016, from 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Saturday, December 3, 2016, 8:45AM at the funeral home, with a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport.  Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Keyport.   You may post a condolence to the family and obtain directions to the funeral home at the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
