Anthony Infante, 84, of Toms River, passed away, Sunday, November 12, 2017, at home surrounded by his family. He worked as a supervisor with Triangle Cable, New Brunswick for 22 years; then worked in maintenance for the U.S. Postal Service, Keyport and Eatontown, retiring in 1999. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Tony was a volunteer firefighter with Raritan Hose and Hook and Ladder, Keyport. He was a great mechanic and loved working on cars.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Rose (Chiaffi) Infante; and his sister, Rose Infante. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anne (Miele) Infante; his sister, Connie Hudanish; two brothers-in-law, Toby Miele and Jules Rosato; three sisters-in-law, Tina Rosato, Marie Sigismondi and Carol Miele; and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 4-7 PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735 and Wednesday, November, 15, 2017, 8:45AM at the funeral home with a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Keyport. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Tony to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org.
