Ann (Miles) DeSimone

Ann (Miles) Smith DeSimone, 79, of Cliffwood Beach/Old Bridge, passed away, Tuesday, April 14, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, at Jersey City Medical Center, Jersey City.  She was born in Newark, resided in Elizabeth, and moved to Cliffwood Beach 51 years ago.  She worked as a secretary with Pittston Warehouse and then as an office assistant with St. Ambrose School, Old Bridge.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Ann was predeceased by her 1st husband, Thomas Smith; her 2nd husband, Joseph DeSimone; her parents, Evan and Ann (Rafferty) Miles; and her brother, Evan Miles.  She is survived by her loving children, Guy Smith of Maplewood, MN; Vicki Hareslak and husband Frank of South Amboy; Debbie Walsh of Hackettstown; Joseph DeSimone, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Manchester; and Karen Moss and husband Bruce of Jackson; a sister-in-law, Camille Miles of Livingston; and nine cherished grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
