Almerico "Bill" Ercolano
July 26, 1928 ~ June 30, 2015 (age 86) 86 Years OldAlmerico “Bill” Ercolano, 86, of Bayville, passed away, Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Jersey City, he resided in Paramus and Barnegat, before moving to Bayville. For 20 years, he was a baker for the family business, Ercolano Bakery, Jersey City. Afterwards, he was a line worker with the Ford Motor Company, Mahwah for 30 years. After retirement, he worked as a carpenter. Bill was active with the Paramus Police Auxiliary and Pistol Team. He was a jack of all trades.
Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose A. (Vaccarella) Ercolano; and his parents, Almerico and Rose (Conte) Ercolano. He is survived by his loving children, Teresa Nemec and her husband Greg of Morris Township; Rick Ercolano and his wife Bonnie Sue; and Paul Ercolano of Maywood; and eight cherished grandchildren; Gregory, Gary, Danielle, Monique, Gianna, Angelina, Paul and Michele. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited Thursday, July 2, 2015, from 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Friday, July 3, 2015, 8:30AM, at the funeral home, with a 9:15AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport.
