Albert R. Meggison

Albert R. Meggison, 70, of Keyport, passed away, Thursday, January 12, 2017, at home.  He was born in South Amboy, where he resided, as well as residing in Laurence Harbor, before settling in Keyport.  He worked 24 years as a programmer with Dupont, Parlin and 17 years with Capital Exterminating, Old Bridge, prior to retiring.  He was past commander at the VFW, Keyport and a member of the American Legion, Keyport. 

Albert was predeceased by his parents, William and Florence (Kelly) Meggison; and his siblings, Margaret, Dorothy, Noreen and Bill.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Adrienne (Kupstas) Meggison; his loving children, Colleen Clark and husband Randy of Warsaw, NY; Robert Prolow of Warsaw, NY; Carin Marinan and husband John of Navesink; and A. Richard Meggison and wife Jennifer of Middletown; a dear sister and best friend, Ann Jankowski and her husband Stanley of South Amboy; six cherished grandchildren, Amanda, John J., Kayla, Zach, Haley and Liam; 22 adored nieces and nephews; 37 great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 16, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Tuesday, January 17, 2017, 9AM at the funeral home with a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at Jesus the Lord Church, Keyport.  Interment will follow at Mt.
